My harps are
much lighter in weight than most being built today this is due to the
special
jig built frame with a very pronounced backward bend to compensate for
string
tension. When up to
concert pitch the harp still has this feature making the sound-box very
stable.
All
my harps
are fitted with easy to use fine tuners & the chord-bar
housings are of a
totally different design to the standard comb & spring method
still used on
most harps today. The springs
are my own design too which do not come into contact with any part of
the harp
when in compression, therefore cutting down the noise factor.
All
the parts
used in construction including the custom strings & inlay
bandings are made
in the UK. The finish is
carried out by hand using a traditional French Polish to a satin sheen.
I also
