Know Your Autoharpers

George Haig is from Dunfermline, Scotland and is a founder/member of the Scottish Group, "Heritage" with whom he has made several highly respected albums of traditional Scots music. He has also been featured as a guest on many additional recordings on labels such as No Bad, Temple, Greentrax and The Living Tradition. George plays several instruments, including banjo, concertina, and mandola in addition to autoharp. He finished in the top three at the MLAG Autoharp Contest three times since the year 2000 and finally broke through to win it all in 2005.
