Georgia Autoharpers
We particularly recommend their excellent Guide for 'Occasional Autoharpers'.
(Sadly, Georgia Autoharpers are no longer active. By kind permission of the author, Laurie Searle, the guide is now hosted here. You're welcome to copy and use it.)
Bob Lewis's AutoharpWorks
New and used instruments, refurbishing, chord bars, supplies, accessories, online Help, reconfiguration plans. For the best of technical information from 'Mr Technical' himself - and also a very fine player - check out Bob's Additional Information and Hot Links pages.
Drew Smith's Great All-American Autoharp Emporium
Another very fine player (and one of nature's showmen, as you just might possibly guess from the company name), Drew sells a wide range of spares and accessories at keen prices. Also look for his useful 'Tips- of- the- Day' on the Cyberpluckers, about all aspects of playing and maintenance.
Autoharp Quarterly
for further autoharp-related news, reviews and advertisers.
Sore Fingers Week
There is an five-day residential autoharp workshop as part of the Sore Fingers Week, which is held every year in North Oxfordshire during the week before or after Easter.
In addition to the many events in the USA which feature autoharp classes, there are three summer music festivals in the USA dedicated to the autoharp:
California Autoharp Gathering
Mendota, California: a new weekend festival in May.
Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering
Newport, Pennsylvania: a five-day festival in late June, featuring only autoharp workshops and performances.
Willamette Valley Autoharp Gathering
A weekend festival near Corvallis, Oregon, in late July/early August.
